Resident Evil Afterlife, 45 days till release

The fourth installment of the hugely successful RESIDENT EVIL franchise, RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE is again based on the wildly well-liked video game series, and will this time be presented in 3-D. In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, ALICE (Milla Jovovich), continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead takes them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead - and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

She's back and she's bringing a couple of her buddies.That's precisely right, Alice will be back to combat against the infected and save the survivors of the T-virus 1 a lot much more time.

Afterlife requires Alice and her to Los Angeles where they face her arch-enemy Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts) and come across a group of survivors in a penitentiary that need her assist in order to escape.

Also added to the story in Resident Evil: Afterlife is Chris Redfield, a character who has been featured in the Resident Evil video games, and is now being brought to the screen. Redfield is the brother of Claire Redfield (Ali Larter) and will be played by Wentworth Miller of TV's Prison Break.Resident Evil Afterlife is written by SCREEN GEMS and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson.

With the use of James Cameron's 3D Fusion Camera System the film was shot in Toronto in late 2009 and will be coming to theaters on September 10, 2010.
